Finally i had the time to finish a decent Hardstyle track and post it on www.men-o-dee.nl and on youtube. Tell me what you think of this track!

As a tribute to Krezip and the fact that they broke up,  i’ve remixed Krezip‘s ‘Sweet Goodbyes’ and placed it on Youtube for the whole world to enjoy. For this remix i’ve used several samples from Steff da Campo‘s remix of Sweet Goodbyes.

I just uploaded a video of me playing with my new studio toy, the Behringer BCF 2000 USB/Midi control deck with motorized faders, while playing my hit track ‘Come back and Stay’ (yep, the original is by Paul Young) in Reason 4.

Note to Reason users: The Behringer BCF2000 works exceptionally well with Reason 4! I plugged in the power cord, plugged in the USB cable, switched it on, started up Reason 4 and did a ‘auto detect control surfaces’ in the preferences menu and voila, the thing works like a charm.

No assigning hassle (but you can do that if you want – assigning specific faders / knobs to virtual faders / knobs) it just works and very fluently as you can see in this video.

And again my biggest hit ‘At the Opera‘ was added to a German Jumpstyle compilation containing 4 CD’s with the hottest hardstyle tracks. The 4th CD of 101% Jumpstylemania features ‘At the Opera’ at track 13. Nice number

2008 started great for me: ‘at the opera‘ seems to be Germany’s favourite Men-O-Dee track; AGAIN another BIG German house compilation album, named ‘Arschbombe’, added At the Opera as one of it’s hits!

Kontor Records Germany released the jumpstyle compilation ‘JUMPSTYLE MANIA – 40 maximum jumpstyle traxx‘ and track 34 of this CD features Men-O-Dee’s hardstyle classic ‘at the opera‘.

Digidance Records The Netherlands released a 3-part compilation called ‘Hardstyle top 50′. Track 15 of CD #3 features the mindblowing men-o-dee track ‘Mindcontroller’.
